About the Event
English wine is getting better and better. Thanks to global warming our vineyards are producing very interesting wines that can compete with more traditional wine-making countries. So on this Friday in April, 1 day after St George's Day, we will honour our patron saint with an English-themed wine-tasting. However...we recognise that not every English wine will delight the tastebuds so we are extending the definition of English wines to wines that come from countries that England used to rule...so prepare to be work out which wine comes from this sceptred Isle and which are from somewhere we used to run! Only £20 per head.
