The Great Scaldwell Cake-Off

This is going to be a major event in the life of our village.

You will be already wondering what you can enter. Only cakes as defined in law will be permitted - the law is a little fuzzy so we have enlisted our very own retired judge, Peter, to guide us through this complex minefield. Does the entry go soft or hard as it ages will be one of the key tests that Peter will be applying. However, we suspect most of the entries will have been eaten before we can find out. It will be a tough afternoon for Peter but we are confident he can do this and, importantly, as a retired judge, will not be influenced by bribes of cash or cake.
